pii2014 Silicon Valley

    The 5th annual Privacy Identity Innovation conference, pii2014, took place November 12-14, 2014 at the Crowne Plaza Palo Alto hotel in Silicon Valley.


    The pii2014 program focused on the latest developments in areas like mobile, biometrics, the Internet of Things and big data with over 75 speakers, including Edith Ramirez, chairwoman of the Federal Trade Commission; Mike Janke, co-founder and CEO of Silent Circle and Toby Weir-Jones, CEO of Blackphone; David Byttow and Chrys Bader, co-founders of Secret; Jim Dempsey, member of the Privacy & Civil Liberties Oversight Board; Jane Horvath, senior director of global privacy at Apple; Todd Cullen, global chief data officer at Ogilvy & Mather, Nico Sell, CEO of Wickr and Brad Burnham of Union Square Ventures.
